Happy Earth Day

The perfect day to go out for a walk, sit under a tree, breath fresh air and be one and the same with nature. Once in a Blue Moon

Tonight, we are a going to have a full moon, the second in a month. This happens because even if we have a 12-months long year, according to the lunar calendar there are not 12,  but 13 full moons. So, once in a while may happen to have what ancient people called “Blue Moon”, the second full moon in a month, the thirteenth moon.

There are legends stating that  during a full blue moon our satellite herself has a face, and spoke to those in its light, imparting wisdom for the year to come.

Isn’t it a strange coincidence that now we are having a Blue Moon just during New Year’s Eve? I hope it would be a lucky sign for a period full of surprises and changes for planet earth.

Stanotte ci sarà la luna piena. Non una luna qualunque, ma la seconda luna piena nello stesso mese, chiamata anche "la Luna Blu". E’ una strana coincidenza che cada proprio durante la vigilia dell’anno nuovo. Speriamo possa essere di buon augurio per il 2010 che stà arrivando.

Did you know that since a couple of years, thanks to fairy artist Jessica Galbreth,  24 June had been elected as the day dedicated to celebrate those beautiful creatures?

So, if you like to get lost into the nature, to collect fairies, and listen to fairytales, this holiday is for you too.

And as it is always said in those cases:

If you believe in fairies......Clap Your Hands. ;)
