When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Deoris and Domaris of the Ancient Land, and Riveda of Zaidan, from Marion Zimmer Bradley's novel "The Fall of Atlantis".
This book had been previously published in two separate chapters: "Web of Light" and "Web of Darkness", which together with "Ancestors of Avalon" are a sort of introduction to the "Avalon saga". The story is placed in an antediluvian world, where the most important continents were Atlantis and the so-called "Ancient Land (maybe Mu? Or Lemuria? MZB never explained that). Here, while two opposite factions, the White Priests of Light (who follow the good side, but at the same time are distant and classist) and the Black Robes (progressive but evil) are carrying on a cold war, a man, the Lord of the Grey Robes (a group of outcast healers) is trying to find a compromise and aiming for a change. But when the time to make a choice comes, which side will Riveda decide to take? Light or Darkness? And the deadly fate of Atlantis and the Ancient Land, can be avoided? Actually I didn't want to use those tones, but this scheme came along as I was proceeding with the coloring. As for the contrast, I still have a lot to learn, but it's funny to practice with photoshop, it enable you to correct a lot of things
Glad you like it.
