A drawing done in traditional watercolors for the :iconcelts:'s Celtic Myths, Legends and Folklore contest.

Fand is a celtic goddess married with the irish God of the seas Manannan. She is beautiful, likes jewels, and can take the form of a sea bird. She has also been one of Cuchulain's lovers, the famous hound of Ulster.

I've tried to draw Fand the way I've imagined her reading Morgan Llywelynn's Red Branch.

..........................................................................................
